“I cannot always control what goes on outside. But I can always control what goes on inside.”
- Wayne Dyer
The options for controlling our technology has changed a lot over the last several years. While voice is a great option in some situations, physical buttons are still the most reliable. When it comes to control, it is most important to think of who will be using the system, the environment and the overall purpose of the what the instruction are meant to accomplish.
Put SimpleHome in Control, and any of these scenarios below are possible whether your home is 2000 or 20,000 square feet.

Watch it.
When you want to watch a movie, would it be helpful if the command - “Watch a movie.” set the a/v equipment to the proper settings and adjust the lighting/shades to an optimal movie watching environment? Sounds simple, right!
Secure it.
Would it be helpful if your security system could tell your porch light to come on when it senses motion on the sidewalk? I think so, and it involves no interaction of you!
Adjust it.
At the end of the day, would it bring you peace of mind to be able to push a button next to your bed and know all the doors were locked, all lights turned off, and thermostat adjusted to the perfect temperature for restful sleep? Oh, the pleasantry!
